Command & Conquer: Rivals is a real-time strategy multiplayer game based on one-on-one battles.

Players have a set of squads like tanks or soldiers that they utilize to fight the other. They have to command these teams and position them to inflict the maximum damage on their opponents.

The primary objective of each player will be to take control of a missile silo at the middle of the battleground. The missile silo has 3 platforms around it. A player can get access to this missile by capturing two platforms.

Players can then launch this missile and target the enemy base. One wins the game by annihilating his/her opponent’s base.

How to play?

Players will gain green crystals that work as a currency in Command & Conquer: Rivals. They can earn these crystals as the game progresses. Players have to utilize crystals to construct buildings that will produce units required for attacking. However, players have a limit on the number of units they can deploy. Further, the more units a player has on the field, the more time it will take to train the new ones.

Players can use up to 6 units in a game. Units can be made up of aircraft, vehicles, infantry, and tech units.

Teams

Players can choose either between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and Brotherhood of Nod (Nod) in Command & Conquer: Rivals.

The commanders or characters of GDI that players use in this game are Colonel Jackson, Dr. Liang, General Solomon, and Lieutenant Strongarm. Commanders in Nod include Jade, Kane, Seth, and OxannaKristos.

Command & Conquer: Rivals was announced by EA back on 9 June 2018 and is yet to be released.
